Dog Den is clean, reliable, and has friendly staff. Our French bulldog absolutely loves his stay each time he goes. Highly recommend!
"We were looking for a place to board our pup for the first time and just for a day and we're glad we found Dog Den!
Being a first time customer, you have to drop off your dog for a few hours to see how your dog will take to the new settings and environment. They will put your furry baby in the different sleeping rooms just to see how your dog will do with them.
We dropped off our dog for a few hours and got a call later saying that our dog, cookie, did a great job in the different sleeping quarters they offer and that she got along great with the other dogs.
Day of boarding - we dropped her off first thing in the morning, at 7am. Boy that was early! We portioned out her food in ziploc bags to make it easier for them to feed her. We also brought her bed and 2 toys.
It's optional if you want to provide your own bowls or not.
Boarding hours is noon. Any time you drop off or pick up before or after it's half of daycare charge ($20). Which isn't bad!
When we picked her up, everything was great! The invoice was itemized so you can see exactly what is being charged for.
Would I recommend this place? Absolutely!
Would we be returning? Definitely!!
I can only say good things about the care Dog Den gave our fur baby. Daniel and Natalie took VERY good care of our dog. From the daily picture postings to even answering my call while we where away. Daniel had the patience and time to answer all my questions and reassured me that our dog was doing great. Daniel even took time to give me a quick update and accommodated our return home for pickup. This will be our doggies place to stay.
I typically do not write Yelp reviews, but I had to make an exception for Dog Den. My French Bulldog Thor has been going to Dog Den for more than half a year now. At daycare, Thor is getting the exercise and socialization that he needs in a controlled and safe environment. He loves Dog Den and it shows - when we park the car in the parking lot to drop him off, Thor makes a dash for the entrance of Dog Den because he cannot wait to go in! Daniel and the staff also really care about the dogs -they know all the dogs by name which is not something I can say about other daycares that I have gone to. Daniel is always accommodating with scheduling and updates you with videos or pictures either on Instagram or on Revelation Pets throughout the day to let you know that your pup is happy and doing well. If you are located around the area, please give Dog Den a try - I'm happy I did!
This place apparently just opened up in December. My friend and I planned a pretty last minute trip for the holidays and I had trouble finding boarding for my dog, Chance, on short notice. Luckily, Dog Den still had availability and is very close to my friend's place in Anaheim Hills.
The place looked and smelled brand new. I especially liked the indoor grass area they had for the dogs. The usual dog sitting place I take my dog to has regular floors and he always comes home stinking pretty bad. The staff at Dog Den explained that the grass they have is easier on the dogs' joints and it had a drainage system underneath where they can wash the dogs' business away so it doesn't stick around, which I really appreciated.
I boarded Chance there for a few days and received updates about 2-3 times by phone and email. I always miss him when I travel so it was nice for me to know he's enjoying his stay and is being well taken care of. Daycare was included with the overnight boarding, which is nice so he was able to play with other dogs and get some social time. Seems like the staff really enjoys what they do and pays attention to details for the dogs they watch over.
